I was so effing ready to be into this ship and then the ring thing happened and i was like nah this dynamic isn't compelling anymore, they've ruined it.

They were so close to something good.

Honestly, this and the oily looking murder threesome has put me off the show altogether.

To say that the season finale was shocking is an understatement.

I hope that Lenore is redeemed and that Hector outwits everyone and escapes. Also I want this ship to sail but I’m wary about season 4 getting darker. until then, I’ll just read a fanfic with solid character development and romance for this ship. Or some AU where they meet but they’re equals.

Fingers crossed that they don't waste her and Hector. It seems a shame to just have the ring tie up the whole thing :(

Especially since they've been (imo) the only compelling part of the Styria storyline. I'd loathe for them to just be brushed aside now that Carmilla has her army problem 'solved' by hiring mercenaries.

Absolutely! Fingers crossed. I agree that they were the most compelling part of the Styria storyline. I see the potential for them to somehow parallel Dracula and Lisa's relationship? Another attempt at bridging the gap between humans and vampires?

Haha thank you!! Same here! In the meantime, I recommend reading this fic on Ao3: Dive in the Ocean, Touch the Sky. It’s solid and what I dream of season 4 for these two.

I hope she doesn't get redeemed, the same way I'd have a hard time for a male rapist character to get redeemed.
