Try it. I had a lot of side effect - sleepy, no energy, a weird taste.
If you dont trust the doctor better go to another. Tell the doctor that you're afraid of side effects, see what they say.

I mean I stopped using it after two or three weeks cos I was lying in bed all the time.

Also it's often prescribed with another drug.
