That's how I felt about The Vampire Diaries, although they're far from the shittiest thing out there.

The show was definitely a guilty pleasure for me. The fact that Damon was my favorite did not help. Yes, he's a horrible serial killer who assaults women even before he kills them. Yes, the narrative romanticizes him like crazy. Yes, it's awful. But he's so attractive and charismatic. Ugh. Why, self, why?
