I got some neosporin on it and took some ibuprofen for the pain.

Remember to moisturize it as it heals! If you can, once the scab comes off, put some medical silicone scar tape over it to help prevent any raised scarring. I did this when I burned the back of my hand on a pan and it's been about a month and a half and looks almost normal except for discoloration, but I had to replace it every day. If you're worried about discoloration keep it out of the sun and/or sunblock for a year!
