It really depends on location. If you live in a neighborhood with Persian bakeries or grocers, you can find it easily enough, but otherwise it's mostly the province of specialty import shops, which makes it something a) you'd have to go out of your way to find and b) pretty expensive, which adds up to not being something most kids will be familiar with.
