Don't know if you'll see this but, this sounds really cool! I tried messaging the admin via tumblr (I don't have a tumblr, so on anon) but I haven't heard back and look at time I tried messaging someone on take, they never received my message, so I'm concerned they'd not receive my message. Do you happen to know where I can find the protonmail for the mod? I'd rather not use the Google form...

yeah, before they switched to the forms we were using "fanpost.admin@" pm.me (remove the space & quotes etc).

Also, for you and anyone else that sees this, I forgot to mention there is a feed on dreamwidth for the tumblr account you can follow so you can see all the posts/updates here without having to go to tumblr.

Thank you for this!

I'm guessing I just send them a pdf of the questions on the form? Lol sorry I sound like such a dummy...

The extent of my fan activity these days is just AO3 fic reading/posting. But I may just get a DW account to link to my old fandom LJ...

Yep, a pdf would probably work. Do you have a copy of the application form? Before they switched to google forms they emailed you a pdf you could fill in. If you email them they might send you the pdf to fill in. I could make a copy of the form they emailed me, but looking at the new google form there are some new questions that were not on the membership application we initially filled in, so you might be better off getting a fresh copy.

And yeah, the email address is actually "pm dot me", not proton mail dot com. Just the two letters, pm.

That's so cool that your friend is interested too. I was really reluctant to sign up at first, because my fannish activity lately has been like you mentioned, just fic reading on AO3, and I am not in the US either so the mail takes forever, but it's been pretty good. So nice to get fannish postcards in the mail (or any mail at all lol), so I am sure your friend will enjoy it (as you probably will too.)

If you don't hear back again, let me know, and I'll try to contact them as well. And if you have any other questions please ask. :D

Thank you! Yeah, that kind of mail is something I'm looking forward to, and I might even share with some other fans who are...fandom inclined (but not active in anyway -- at least that I'm aware of). I have already seen a few fandoms I think I could get excited and send mail for. I hope to give & receive!

It is actually "pm dot me" and not proton mail dot com, right?
Thanks again and I'm looking forward to participating -- I even told a friend about it who is not active in fandom at all and she's excited about it too!
