Gratuitous amounts of snow. It's been hot this year and has only sprinkled a little snow twice. We should be covered in it by now but nope.

YES. I remember winters full of snow when I was a kid here in Iowa, and we often had snow at Christmas.

Last few years, not so much. More often than not it's been more mild and dry.

This. We always had a white Xmas and now....we haven't had one in ages. It's going to be like sixty-two tomorrow!

Oof. I'm sorry-I'd hate that, too. That is one upside where I live, at least it will be cold. 40s tomorrow, but then we've got a bitter cold snap coming on Wednesday. So that's something.

The stupid thing is, it's *COLD* at night! Like - down in the thirties and, this Thursday, into the teens. But still in the fifties during the day. Meh.

This but with rain. Even the weeds have mostly given up here.

Oh fuck yeah. The town I grew up in was fairly cold and dry, so when we got snow it would be light and fluffy and it would actually stay and not melt. I miss the snowy winters of my childhood so bad. I moved to Vancouver, where it is perpetually just barely cold enough to snow. So the snow comes down hard and fast, and then melts into dirty slush in literally three hours. :/
