Let me put it this way, I rarely see anything that's fandom related. The closest that gets is icons, and even then, the majority of icons posts have crappy icons, imo. Then the rest of the activity is movie news and selling items that I can't afford. It really sucks.

Maybe I'm just used to being in larger fandoms that actually have fanficion/fanart on a somewhat regular basis, but I'm just annoyed at the lack of stuff that makes it feel like fandom.

There is plenty of Japanese fanart being released everyday, if that makes it any better.

Well, there are at least two on-going fanfics (mine and

jaswinder's), but we both update only once a month or so... You can probably find some more on Fanfiction.net too.

gurrendressing is pretty active.

4chan has regular threads on Lagann, and since the movie STILL hasn't been subbed yet (grrr), I'd say the Lagann world is still pretty active and going strong. It'll probably erupt again when we can actually get a hold of the movie sub (unless I've been under a rock and it's already around?)

Yeah actually, I noticed a while ago it'd decreased but figured I'd just been missing it or something.

Sad, I was totally obsessed with that place for ages (despite never, y'know, having the guts to post myself. ;_;)

that's okay, i miss it too :( but i feel it's better to leave it be than make it lame by trying to artificially revive it

Well, Gurren Lagann DID come out a year ago, so it's safe to say that the fandom has dwindled a little, though it's DEFINITELY not dead. You want to see dead? Try the Beyblade fandom or something like that. (Does Beyblade even have a fandom?)

I'd say it's just a slow period, and I echo what everyone else said :)
