107. Gah, I know what you mean. I love the man, but I feel like if we'd met, he'd think I was an idiot. Same with fictional characters (though I do know that it's physically impossible to meet a fictional character, that doesn't stop me from daydreaming XD) like House or whoever. It makes me kinda sad.

128. I love how that kid was considered fat back when that movie was made. Look at him! He's got baby fattened cheeks, at most! I feel the same way about Vern in Stand By Me - okay, wait, this has absolutely nothing to do with your secret, sorry. But still. Weight standards sure have changed.

162. She died in the PILOT?! That's so not fair, because when I look for Dean/Jess for Gilmore Girls, Supernatural comes up. I don't watch the show, so I always just assumed, "ah, whatever, it's the more popular show these days and there ARE het fans out there (har har), so I understand." But not if she died in the PILOT. Okay, now I'm pissed.

167. I know what you mean. I mean, I like the sexual side of it, too, but I don't just ship for sex. Two pretty boys =/= a pairing to me. They have to be compatable, too, and whenever I do read smut, I usually like their relationship to show through the sex as well, rather than just, oh, I dunno, being nailed against a shower wall or whatever. (I'm not refrencing anything in particular, just for everyone who's written shower sex. XD) How two people react platonically is usually why I ship them in the first place.

I KNOW. I thought maybe she was a prominant character, so whatever, there's a group for every fandom, but she's only ever been in one episode I can't help but be a little bitter about it.

Especially after the Dean and Jess of Gilmore Girls went toppling all over a house in a fight, you'd think that would bring in a bit of a fanbase, but I can't even find a genral Gilmore Girls slash comm or anything. Which, I know, makes me sound dirty and weird, but whatever, this is fandom. XD

That is very sad. I'm not a big fan of either Dean or Jess (they both felt pretty one note, just opposite sides of the same coin, to me) but I could pretend it was Sam Winchester and Peter Petrelli and that is a ship I can get behind (pun not intended, but unavoidable). What I really don't get is that there seems to be a ton of Rory-related het in GG fandom, which, yay het, but I didn't see any chemistry between Rory and any of her love interests! If anything, she had the most chemistry with Paris. However, I can't see Lorelai with anyone but Luke, so maybe I just have warped tinhat opinions from having watched the series in syndication instead of Real Time. :|

I agree, I didn't like Dean all that much, but while the bad boy thing is not my type at all, Jess was vaguely better. I have to agree about the Paris thing, though. I haven't seen the whole series yet, but she does seem like the best person for her. XD Not to mention Paris seems to have a latent crush on Rory.

As for Dean and Jess, I didn't like them as Rory's boyfriends, but I think they had the most personality when they were at each other's throats. Well, that and UST's one of my favourite reasons to get teenage guys together. Haha.

Lorelai isn't with Luke yet where I am in the series (though I must admit I knew it'd happen even before I was spoiled, where that's concerned), but I agree with you on that point, too. XD

Just to clarify, she did die in the pilot, but Sam obsessed over her as his "safe and normal" lifestyle for an entire season, so there were constant mentions of her and I think he imagined he saw her a few times during the first season. Then there was Dean's AU episode where she was still alive and she and Sam were ultra-happy together and adorable.

Which... you know, means she only appeared three times in four years and probably doesn't sound any less obsessive or silly to someone who doesn't watch, haha. :)

So much word. Pairings don't interest me unless they have an engaging interplay of personality behind them. I also don't care for generic sex scenes that tell us nothing about the characters or their relationship. Even if the sex is just a one-time deal, there has to be something behind it beyond I HAS A PANTSROCK.

Yes, exactly! I mean, I admit, sometimes the personality of the couple is more of a violent/hatesex/ situation, but when that's the case, it's always better if the sex scene(s) contain all the angst and drama connected with that. Sex just being sex is boring. :/

Yeah, I know what you mean - I do that sometimes, too, but in those instances, I could replace the names with any two names I wanted and it wouldn't make any difference. My whole point to actual shipping is knowing that those two, specific people belong together for reasons that should be obvious in the writing.
