I think everyone has stereotypes they subscribe to without knowing it (...actually, looking at my response above, yeah, I probably am more than a little unfairly biased against people that go to 4chan). Probably the best thing to do is to acknowledge you have them and do your best not to let them control you.

116. There is, towards certain ones, I think. Admittedly I don't bring up my beliefs as much as I'd like to. That being said, be a good example--don't force your beliefs on people, but try to be honest and show your beliefs not just through words, but through actions.
121. I watched it and like it, but it's definitely not for everyone--and don't worry, opinion is divided. I don't think you're a "bad" anime fan if you don't like it. (And I know how you feel with the not watching enough classic/must-see series. I've only just recently started Escaflowne, and I have Haibane Renmei and Lain sitting on my shelf, unwatched.)
