Moving away from that sad tale, I disagree with you about the overall point you were making. Thanks for the crazy story, though!
110 - Love is groovy and that movie is uber awesome for having characters with such personality!
116 - Don't be afraid to be honest; just play nice and have fun. You and your friends could have some really profound conversations if you're all willing to listen to others' beliefs. But if bashing starts, you can always just leave the conversation.
128 - D: And now sexual undertones have been applied to my nostalgia about Willy Wonka. D:

129 - Oh those silly males~. (Nice point, the thing is sorta based on some stereotypes, and males have been stereotyped to be the "default" human. But I don't know if the author has revealed his reasonings for choosing the sexes of his characters. It's possible that he didn't think much about the characters' sexes when he was starting the comic. When I create a character, I just think of one significant aspect of the character, like for example - Character A is supposed to be moody around everyone else except kittens, and the rest of the character starts to flow together on its own. After that, I'm kind of reluctant to tweak that character's basic image.
Perhaps something similar happened to him; after he saw the main cast as male he couldn't see it any other way?

Oh and hey, the more you learn about history, the more emotions you get from it, like tragic emotions and also comedic emotions. I'm glad I've found something on the internet that has some light comedy based on culture and history while still being tasteful. It's nice.
(Oh, and I'm using tasteful as in my opinion of tasteful; I totally respect people who's standards may be different than mine.)
151 - *Insert checkmark here.* I need to get caught back up with Soul Eater; but I know I'll enjoy Stein appearances! He's a mad scientist who's also very, for lack of a more specific word, human; I like his personality and I want him to be happy at the end.
