People say that about Earthshock a lot, and... I just don't get it. I don't know what part you're referring to. I never saw him choosing to stay on the freighter when the others left as trying to test himself. As far as he was concerned, if he left, the earth would be destroyed.
So yeah. I don't get it at all.
I'm aware that he's very annoying at times. But then again, so are most of the teenage boys I know. And a lot of them are bloody arrogant as well. I'm seventeen, nearly eighteen, and that's around the age I always thought Adric was. The way I see it, if he hadn't died when he did, he probably would have grown out of it.
