More and more, I resent the fact that "don't mind" is conflated with "don't care". When discussing media about groups who frequently have been and still are the victims of hatred and violence for merely insisting, the acceptance alone is a victory. But I don't have the time and the power to fight every battle for every group who deserves it. My outspoken acceptance is my way of letting the world know that yeah, it's good that these people exist and that any shitholes can count themselves out of my respect if they're going to argue otherwise.
