Oh, no, even if you don't believe the specific tent peg statement is real (though it certainly fits with other things she's said) she has also, on record, said a great number of other homophobic things, especially about Green Riders. Also, her publicity team tried to get rid of copies of the interview, so it's not as straightforward as "no proof".

Also, I'm not OP and I very much enjoyed aspects of the books, especially the Menolly books.
