(Anonymous) 2020-12-29 02:48 am (UTC)(link)I'm a sex repulsed ace cis female btw. Eventually I got used (like you get used to anything unpleasant) to fictional sex scenes esp. between males though I still feel uneasy by some. But at some point in life I could relate to this 100% so eh.

(Anonymous) 2020-12-30 03:29 am (UTC)(link)I like romance more so than sex scenes in general (normally I can put up with it or just skim through a smut scene unless it's emotionally charged - either written or in a comic/manga), so I understand OP's preference. Some people are in it for the porn and some people are in it for the romance and some lucky people are ok with both - it's always hilarious when people show preference for something over the sexual elements and get accused of being homophobic or prudes for it. Like chill, the romance genre is huge and sometimes people want to read something more specific - it's seldom ever that deep.
