It's not like they didn't have options! It's a magical wishing stone! Why can't it just create his body out of thin air? The possession angle makes no sense. Ugh.

They still could have borrowed clothes from the "neighbor guy" who's away on a business trip or something.

They just wanted an excuse to have a silly 80s fashion show with a dude's wardrobe, but there were other ways to do it.

DA If they wanted to do a fashion montage, Diana should’ve just taken him to the mall. It would’ve been funny and there wouldn’t have been any squick involved.

They could have even tied it in to the mall scene at the very beginning, like she sees that little girl again and they have a cute "oh hey it's you!" moment.
