I find this shocking. The whole plot with Barbara is "woman wants to be treated with more respect, gets airs, turns into a monster that has to be stop, also women who aren't Diana are jealous bitches."

And this is a movie that starts with a lulzy slapstick action sequence in a mall that clearly establishes the movie as something geared towards children.

Okay, either I'm not going to watch at all, or I'll download for free at some point and pause it every little while to watch happier things or to have cathartic pillow punches.

I torrented it because I'm teaching an upcoming lesson on Orientalism, and I wanted a contemporary example, of which this is note-perfect. The hilarious costume choices for Barbara at the end are also worth seeing, but not worth paying for. I watched it cellphone in hand, posting to Facebook each time I saw something in the movie that was terrible.
