2000s emooooo!!!

I can gladly report MCR still holds up lol. Demolition lovers is probably my favorite song of theirs period lol.

I would also like to report TBS has vastly improved-- I still have love for their earlier albums, but the lyrics make far more sense as the years go on. Tidal Wave is gold, imo.

Thank you, I am going to check!

Crazy how I never thought of myself as emo back then (being far too deep into the weeaboo lane kept me from that probably...) but I certainly grew up having mates who "were" emo. As for myself, I listened to TTTYG religiously as I still do, but didn't know to what extent I'd miss it all. Sometimes I'm enjoying something very unrelated and they pull emo influences out of their asses, it makes me feel like I was way deeper into it than I previously thought. Lol. (Shout out to all of us making crappy AMV to emo songs in WMM in the early 2000s!)

MCR definitely holds up! Demolition Lovers is also one of my favorite songs and I used to feel it was really underrated back in the day because people were all about I'm Not Okay and Welcome to the Black Parade.
