(Anonymous) 2021-01-02 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)Showing up on doorsteps, stalking, believing the relationship is two way, preventing personal growth or new relationships in service of the false one, etc. That's when it's no longer harmless and instead becomes a serious problem. It's terrifying for the person you've turned your attention to, and it's damaging to your own mental health.
If you're just at home having the hots for a youtuber and watching their content for hours, that's fine. That's pretty normal, even. There's a reason successful celebrities are generally, ya know, hot. Attraction means attention. Your youtuber is gonna love all the views they're getting, and all the people you're telling them about. They just aren't going to love if you hang outside their windows at 3 am.
Just don't be weird about it.
