I never watched the show, but Batman Beyond was about an old Bruce mentoring a teen who becomes the new Batman (in a different suit and it's the future).

Maybe it will follow on whatever is happening in the Flash movie.

He and Ben Affleck are both going to be Batmans in it, in some sort of multiverse storyline. I think there was speculation that Keaton was going to be the older Bruce Wayne from the Batman Beyond 'verse.

Not true its he will be more of a nick fury role but he is probably gonna be in spiderman 3 as well so he will be in the flash and batgirl as a mentor
