Have you heard of OTC (one true character)? It's not uncommon for someone to be very into one character rather than one ship.

This. I multiship like mad in most of my fandoms, but a lot of the ships feature one particular character. I like them and am happy to write them with just about anyone.


(But also, people just... multi-ship? It's normal?)
