Re: How Are We Doing?

A bit of meh.

I keep getting stupid fanfic ideas in my head but I want to move the hell away from writing fanfiction entirely. BUT GODDAMNIT they ideas keep coming and I have to write them because nobody writes stuff the way I need to scratch the fuck out of this itch (note: I am not saying people are bad writers, just that my preferences are crazy specific).

But I'm going on 1500 words with this new fic (where I wrote down the idea a day and a half ago, and the fic itself I started writing a few hours ago). I guess that isn't too bad, since I expect it be somewhere between 5000-10000 words. I just worry I'll get far and then lose steam. I can't stand that. Fortunately, readers won't have to put up with that shit like they did last time (where I sat on an epilogue for 14 months), because this is a one-shot.

Part of me wishes I could just write shit down and not care whether I posted it or not. But I can't do that either, because that'll drive me crazy too. It's so annoying.
