Huh. I've always used "RPS" for "Real Person Slash" and "RPF" for "Real Person Fic." But I can definitely see how the terminology is confusing, and it's always bothered me that "RPF" was for gen as well as explicit het, so.

It DOES stand for Real Person SLASH; not Real Person Stories or anything else. RPF is Real Person Fic. So the OP was correct

I've never heard that RPS stood for anything besides real person slash. I certainly understand it when people use it to mean RPF (real person fic), but I always thought it was incorrect. (Though I've slipped up and used it that way now and then, since most of my RPF ships are RPS.)

Of course there is the (archaic ;-)) use of "slash" to mean "non-canon 'ships" rather than the generally-accepted "gay 'ships" so there is that. :D
