I was warned about that scene and skipped it but sd;lsdkfd yeah that scene was pretty bad.

I had no warning aaaaaaa. No other violent part bothered me at all, but I'm only partway through the second season so I'm wondering if I can expect much worse.

I... don't really remember, I think season one was pretty much the gruesomest series of the two though. xD

well, that's good to hear! I think if I can survive that scene, even if it wasn't easy to watch I'll be fine with the rest. it should not bother me this much ahah.

lmao yeah that scene was definitely one of the more disgusting and disturbing scenes. After a while (I marathoned it fff) I got kind of desensitized to it... the thing that scared me most was the fail animation and the expressions that were thoroughly and unintentionally creepy at times.

I am not really bothered by violence in films or anime or any kind of media which is why the series didn't do anything~ to me. but I have had a couple of fingernails come off for various reasons, so it freaked me out so much more because of the similar experiences aaaaaa

sdflksdf God that must hurt so badly ew. Yeah the other parts didn't really scare me but just that scene was horrible. /pats

AHAHA they were all self induced accidents so I am to blame, but once everything started to heal it didn't hurt that badly which I am thankful for.

The gore really disappears in Kai because the theme of the story shifts dramatically.

I've noticed there is less violence, although I really am only a few episodes in. it'll be good to see more plot, less people having faces smashed in or whatever.

I've seen that scene actually.
Never watched the anime but saw all the ~*VIOLENCE*~

The scene where Rena (or whatever her name is) beats the chick with the pipe is the one that makes me shudder. |:

I never had much of an issue with the pipe-beating... however, I believe there was a scene with crows nomming on Rena's corpse? Yuck D:

I think it was that they showed the girls BROKEN JAW.

You know, had they had a scene in which someone rips their skin off via shaving, I would have probably found the series 57437683x more frightening.

Yeah, I have a really bad eye squick and I imagine the worst possible things with it sob. Why are phobias so horrible D:

oh god talking of eyes, in the last series of the tudors one of the characters undergoes some kind of torture where these things were put on his eyelids and pulled back aaaaaaa blood everywhere. it was not pleasant to watch :|

AHAHA that scene reminded me of something from Baccano, where this guy, Ladd Russo punches a mans face in, all that is left is a bloody crater.

but ghjgfk no scene will top that one with the fingernails in terns of how much trauma it caused.

AHAH don't worry!

I would suggest that you just watch the first episode or two and make your judgement on that, but the story doesn't really take off until maybe halfway through? everything connects somehow so once you see everything it all makes sense. either way I would recommend you check it out!
