Oh, he's one of my favourite actors, now. To be honest, he always kinda was, I just didn't think his name was John Malkovich. I just thought that was a character he played. XD

How I found out was, I was watching something he was in with two of my friends, and one was trying to rememer his name, and to be helpful I said, "Ah, he's the guy from Being John Malkovich." My other friend cut in, cracking up and responded, "That's probably because he's John Malkovich." XD

That's so cute! But I can see the confusion, Malkovich is such an unusual name, it sounds perfect for a made up character.

Doesn't it? I kinda want to use it in a book. Really though, I've only recently become worth anything at remembering celebrity names, anyway (which I blame on rooming with aforementioned friend who knew Malkovich XD), and I still end up calling them by character names a lot. I still refer to Harrison Ford as "Han Solo" about 90% of the time. XD

To be honest, I recognize actors' faces and voices really well, it's just the names that I can't get as easily - probably because we end up knowing them by so many. Haha.
