For either of them, I'm less concerned with pixel-perfection than I am with the aesthetic choices.

That scene where Isabeau falls off the tower in Ladyhawke? I can see the edges from the early Chroma Key. It's still a fucking amazing scene.

The Farscape puppets are, very clearly, puppets. They still convey incredible emotional nuance, pathos, and humour.

I don't care if I can see the seams of the effects. I care that they're beautiful and they support the story.
