Re: Your Biggest Childhood Tv Show/Movie Obsession?

The animated movie Animalympics, which ran constantly on HBO in 83-84 (when we had HBO because my family was apparently well off). I watched it obsessively. I fucking loved that movie. I'm honestly surprised I didn't end up a furry thanks to that movie.

some kind anon here on FS helped me find it on youtube a couple months back. Still holds up. Had no idea that only 4 voice actors were involved for the entire thing, three of which were Harry Shearer, Billy Crystal, and Gilda Radner. whoever linked it for me the first time thank you I love you.

Whoa! I caught parts of it as a kid (I think it aired as a special on cable) and was fascinated by the fluidity of the animation. I barely remember: was there a cheetah and... a goat running a race? That had to blow up their separate thought bubbles in order to cooperate/fall in love?

And it felt like there was a huge cast, so only 4 voice actors is impressive! But that sounds like the cast you want for that job.
