I don't mind the shipping if its actually kept in fandom spaces - its when you get certain fans who think its not creepy at all to badger the actual real people on social media and send them those fanworks even after those people say its uncomfortable for them to see it - or even send death threats to those real people's spouses or anyone they're dating because that person isn't part of 'the ship'.
