Emigrating requires that you either have something to offer in terms of skill (so working) or investing in a local business. A couple of million is about the ballpark for the investment option in most developed countries, so you could do that, but then your nest egg is gone or significantly lessened, and you’ll probably need to work to make a living.

He's British - he could just stay home. Or move to any other European country before 2021 without any investments or what not and continue doing what he does right now, just from Spain or Portugal or any other place where his British pounds have greater purchasing power than in the UK. No offence, but I don't think you get how EU works and how easy it is to move between countries - none of what you wrote applies to NG's case.

But this isn't a comment in response to the secret? The question at the start of the thread states very specifically "where do YOU live" and then most of the comments are sharing personal experiences, most them US-centric -- hell, even the OP of the secret is kind of talking about themselves too? You're the one who got it in their head that this is about NG. NG isn't going to live in Missouri, dude. We're all obviously talking about what WE would do if we had his money, not what we would do if we were NG.
