I've been single for a long time and am kind of sick of it and would love to meet someone. There are a few celebs I have crushes on and whenever they get new gfs I feel the same OP, a bit sad. I've gone through it in my mind and I realise it's not jealousy of the new gf but sadness at myself that I can't find a bf.

And it's worse because I don't want a BF realistically! I just wanted to be in love like they seem to be, and have someone fall for me like that too. But instead all I get is falling for them and they get engaged. Oh well.

From what I can parse... (correct me if I'm wrong)

OP has crushes on celeb A and celeb B
OP found out both celeb A and celeb B are in relationships now and are happy.
OP is sad because it makes them feel like they'll never have that, even though they're more on the ace/aro spectrum anyway
OP found out celeb C also crushed on A and B and it makes OP feel better to know they are not alone, that celeb C is probably also sad.
(Unless it turns out that celeb C is the one who is secretly in a relationship with A or B.)

But Also: Celeb C makes a living out of writing gay romance which is lowkey where I'd like to be lol.
