Entrapta was great! How often do you get to see a female character be the true neutral scientist?

(And she became a "better friend" by the end, anyway.)

Not much, she didn't. She was still an awful human being. She'd have stabbed them in the back for science.

I don't like the "true neutral scientist" when they're male either. They're shitty people.

I don't hate her because I have a soft spot for scientist characters. But she had so little consequence for her actions and all we got from her is "I'm not good with people :/" it's a little annoying.

It was cool when she joined the evil team because of the twist. It would be interesting if they kept it to the end or she actually stayed behind on that island, again not because I hate her, but because it would be fitting for her flaw and wouldn't end in a very lame "sorry I helped destroy your homes lol"

i really liked entrapta, but i agree everyone was waaaay too chill about her coming back. i could say the same about catra too though. i was expecting there to be more pushback from the others about believing she switched sides, or just... something

I just found her like nails on a chalkboard. So sick of the stereotype of ADHD/autism being like "OOOOH SHINY SQUIRREL." But I seem to be in the minority there.

I only watched through the end of S1, but the whole “unable to pay attention while infiltrating an enemy base” thing just seemed too stupid to live.

Oh, yeah. She's a terrible person (and I don't think she's really any less terrible at the end, to be honest).

I'm autistic and I have ADHD. I don't hate her for those traits. I hate her because she's a terrible fucking person.

eh. I found her a bit irritating initially, but I grew to like her, I guess /because/ she wasn't a very good person. It made her an interesting character to me. But I do agree that both her and Catra kinda got accepted back a bit too easily. Can't say I blame anyone for being suspicious of her considering how quickly her loyalty changes.

I don't hate Entrapta, but she's not my favorite (That's Scorpia.) But I am super into the Entrapta/Hordak pairing. Can't get enough of it.

Agree. And I didn't like her character design. Hair that acted like hands, huh? Well, I *guess* that's okay when your world has a talking and flying horse, but I still find it hard to believe.

I have a close friend (known her since childhood) who relates to Entrapta and takes hate for her in the fandom and her "bad" treatment on the show personally. I don't have the heart to tell her that if she were half as much like Entrapta as she thinks she is, we wouldn't be friends.

Depends on whether or not her neurodivergence is being used as an excuse for her negative qualities. “She can’t help being an asshole; she’s autistic!” isn't good representation. It’s just another stereotype.
