For the longest time I thought I inherently disliked any iteration of The Worst Age Gap in the Universe, but then 12 happened and I was weirdly ok with pairing him with Clara and River. I think my main problem was that the show didn't really acknowledge that the age gap was weird when it was a younger actor playing the Doctor, but as soon as the show cast someone where the age gap was obvious it became something that actually had to be acknowledged and dealt with. I'm still only really interested in the Thoschei friends to lovers to enemies who still fuck sometimes but regret it dynamic tho lmao
