I think I know this feeling and HATE IT. There's this thing I've been into for years now and sometimes I still catch myself thinking "oh you know who liked that too? That one girl you crushed on whom you haven't seen in ten years and are thankful for that!" or sometimes it's "wow, it would be so nice to talk to my old friend about this thing I just got into! Except we haven't talked in fifteen years and no idea how they're doing." and then I get into it and I literally can't stop thinking about how I'd like to talk to them about the thing. People just get ingrained in me maybe, and in terrible, obsessive ways too.
