NAYRT but

I mean

there are plenty of ships that aren't slash already

(Anonymous) 2021-01-17 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
But those plenty of non-slash ships aren't A/C, which is what the OP is interested in. What is this attitude that ships are a finite commodity and one can be swapped out for another if you don't like its gender combo or whatever?

But the queerness is an inherent part of their character. So it's more OP is interested in Crowley and a woman who is the La Croix of Aziraphales.

What is an inherent part of a ship is every shipper's personal opinion. Just because you think the queerness is what makes the ship what it is doesn't mean everyone sees it that way. Even if you think the other people's interpretations are wrong, the fact that they like this particular ship means something and can't be wrong. You cannot be subjectively incorrect with what sparks your interest. It just isn't possible, because interest by definition does not work that way. If it queerness was really so integral to the ship, the OP wouldn't have been interested in it in the first place.

So? Why should that mean that OP can't ship what they want to ship? There's no limit on who can ship what.
