This particular thread isn't really about the OP's situation, and is more about genderswapping in general and genderswapping GO characters in particular. The OP should have really just said, "I like the dynamics between these characters so I'm basing my original romance novel on them except my characters are het," and no one would have batted an eyelash, but nope, they went with the homophobia bait.
