But how do anime antagonists push up their glasses? I've never noticed a particular 'antagonist' style. Is it the whole pushing on the temples, rather than the bridge thing?

It's really hilarious tbh. You chose a hero-in-training for a villain example, but he DOES have a moment where he foregoes his morals for revenge for a moment, AND he has to play a villain in a school field exercise, so it works! I thought it was on purpose for irony!
