I ordered something off Etsy that was supposed to deliver 3 days ago and it still hasn't shipped. I messaged the seller today and am still waiting on a response. :(

Something I ordered that was supposed to show up before Christmas finally showed up last week. I’m trying to tell myself that it’s not that bad, I’ve been spoiled by Evil Amazon.

The existence of time

My lack of time management skills UGH

Me. I can't get off my ass like I'm supposed to or at least complete fanwork stuff like I'd planned.

Myself. I haven't stuck to my new year's resolutions like I was going to. I know I have to just do it, but getting that motivation is hard and scary for me. Waah.

Life.
My parents not getting that me not wanting to be social doesn't mean I'm in a depression hole, it means I'm in a lot of pain, I'm hormonal, and I just need some time alone. It doesn't mean they need to try to pull me out of my room, it means they need to leave me the heck alone.

My uterus. I think it's trying to kill me. I haven't had a period this obnoxious since I was a teenager. Ugh!

Paid $40 to get my late Christmas gift to my best friend and it was supposed to take 3 days to deliver and hasn't arrived yet!!!

I shipped it out to my best friend on...January 6th.
My best friend lives in...Virginia.
And he lives really close to DC.

Ugh I just want him to get the bath bombs I made him for Christmas. I feel so bad he hasn't received his present yet.

Not sure if I’m finally starting to look my age and if that’s why I’ve been getting comments about how I’d be a good mother but as someone who doesn’t have the means to do that, neither economically nor emotionally, it’s bothering me a bit I guess to keep being reminded of it. Can’t have pets here in my apartment so no fuzzy babies either.

I feel you on the "don't have the financial or emotional stability to have kids" thing, it sucks sometimes.

And I'm sorry you can't have pets, and hope someday you can.

They probably just mean that you're a kind and patient person. Maybe even nurturing.

I hope it stops reminding of the factors that are bothering you. Post COVID (whatever that would mean), would volunteering at an animal shelter be a possibility/something you'd be interested in?

The fact that I haven't finished my fic. I promised myself I'd finish it in December so I could edit it in January. I know what I want to write and I have everything planned out, but then I sit down and think it's just not gonna be as awesome as it is in my head, so I don't write it. It's so stupid.

Being simultaneously really thirsty and really nauseated is terrible. It used to just be that I was really thirsty so I would drink stuff and become really nauseated for several hours, and then when that faded I hadn't drunk anything for half the day so I was really thirsty again, repeat.

Now I'm just nauseated all the time whether I drink anything or not, which I usually don't because I'm so nauseated, so also really thirsty.

Maybe try peppermint or ginger tea? Both are supposed to help with nausea.

Thanks, but I've literally been suffering from severe nausea for ten years now (to the day.... Facebook memories showed me posts I made when I got a virus that eventually messed up my entire GI tract. :/) Have found absolutely nothing that helps, and I have tried literally every anti-nausea remedy the internet has to offer, from things you swallow to things you apply to things you do... pressure points, yoga, breathing exercises.

Admittedly the one thing I've been able to swallow AT ALL for the last several days, if only sometimes without pain, is strong peppermint mocha. Peppermint and coffee together seems to be the least painful combo. Ginger... well, I learned that I like the taste of it at least.

Nope. Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me because "nothing seems wrong on your bloodwork, I think you're just lying to cover up an eating disorder" and being American I was paying $150 or more each time for the privilege of being called a liar. I hate the medical profession.

today I was on the bus coming home from the dentist and I was the only person on the bus apart from the driver and this old lady gets on and sits MUCH TOO CLOSE to me despite my being the only person on the bus and I tried to tell her politely that we're not supposed to sit too close because covid and she doesn't say or do anything. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
If I get covid it's her fault.

Dieting sucks.
