I feel like the 10th Kingdom would have worked better as an RPG. There were a lot of interesting ideas, but the pacing was all wonky, and sometimes it focused on the wrong things. (Like when Wolf was blamed for murder—that felt more like an optional sidequest.)

Maybe as an animated series with adventure and comedy subplots? The scene where the dad is winning money by playing kid's games still cracks me up.

My sister and I re-watched this last Christmas, and it didn't hold up as well as we hoped (a lot of Wolf's early stuff is uhhhhhh gross), but it was still pretty fun, and there's some great post-series fanfics out there IMO!

Am I crazy or did this show end like midway? I only remember the last episode I saw Wolf was trying to convince the girl he was truly in love with her. And that was all.

Anyway, I enjoyed this show :)

Okay, yeah, i thought as much. I was watching it for the first time last year on Prime, and I guess they only had a limited number of episodes? I was left confused and dissatisfied lol

I remember watching this when it was on and my mom apparently decided I must have really liked it so she gave me the VHS box set. I didn't really like it, just watched it because it was something to watch. I don't think I ever watched the tapes and eventually got rid of them because I no longer had a working VCR and the world had switched to DVD.
