And if my Griffith was prancing around in a pik tutu I think I'd have Guts just slice him in half and go have interaction with someone else

EXACTLY! ME TOO! If I could! If that Griffith player wanted to do the tutu dancing, let Griffith go ahead and have his fun, but at least let my character go and be IC interacting with others. but sometimes the IC bonds are too strong that you can't ICly do that, and that's when... other people's OOCness does start affecting you (and you have to clean up their messes, as stated). And then if they say "lol u cant kill my character cuz i dont give u permission" and keep interacting with you in ways your character can't ICly ignore, then you're really stuck in a situation where you CAN'T ICly respond to anything. [livejournal.com profile] shahnichan's Sephiroth situation above is a good example of that.

I'm glad you agree though!

Exactly. Guts and Griffith have probably the most vital and strongest bond in the series, so if someone was making Griffith incredibly OOC or trying to drastically change how Griffith feels about Guts, I probably would not be able to enjoy playing my characters as well as I could. So yeah, it really can ruin a few things for you. XD I totally took the secret the wrong way.

And that really does suck, because if you work hard on your muse and to get your character into an RP only to be stuck in a situation like that, well. Yeah. Your fun is out the window.
