Well, you know, some groups left their companies and some groups do exist still even with members in different companies. They don't need to be lying about it. If they are, that's assholeish.

Not OP, but I doubt they're lying but at the same time it's almost like the "We should get coffee some time!" type things you say to people where maybe you do want to get coffee some time, but you're not going to go out of your way or put too much effort into making it happen.

Well, except no one but the two of them are expecting the coffee and, in this case, they have a LOT of fans expecting them. I'm not a fan personally but even I can see they'd do better together.
