It's a silly, funny movie for the most part, with some 'drama' inserted that is actually pretty on par for most high schools.

Made in 1982. Written in part by Cameron Crowe, adapted from his 1981 book 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High: A True Story'. Crowe went undercover at Clairemont High School in San Diego and wrote about his experiences.
