Any beginner tips?
Have started writing some stuff (very slowly), and even if I know I won't be good from one day to another, could appreciate some tips.

If you can, try and find a time that works for you and make that your writing time. My writing time is after ten at night because that's when everyone's asleep and distractions are minimal. Plus, being a bit sleepy makes me less self-critical.

Figure out how you want your story to end. It's easier to write if you have an actual goal in mind, not just a sort of nebulous 'they do stuff' kind of idea.

Write even if it sucks. Just go for it, write, don't worry about *what* you're writing. Nine times out of then, you'll suddenly hit your stride and hit the tone you want and you're off and running. You can always come back later and edit the bits that don't work.

Have fun!
