Also, they never answered the question of why Simone and Chidi's "Good Place" had to have a dick like Brent being vile to them all the time. I mean, it was a good place for Brent, sure, but if I went to a supposed Heaven and was supposed to be nice to a racist misogynist who I was now stuck with forever (as far as I knew) I would be pretty pissed off.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but I think that was the last of the fake Good Places so everyone was still supposed to rub someone else in the group the wrong way.

Also, since the demons got to pick who to use, on paper they chose Brent to primarily annoy Simone (which worked anyway), but mostly chose him to antagonize and distract Eleanor.

Yeah, if I had to deal with that for a day I would be like "so what's the Bad Place like this time of year?" Simone even asked about it directly. They should have had a scene like:
Simone: How exactly did he get into the Good Place?
Tahani: He saved a baby!
Simone: What? He's never mentioned it.
Eleanor: Uh, well, it was a long time ago. I'm sure if you ask him he'll tell you all about-
