I think there's a theory that the ship that sinks at the beginning of the Little Mermaid is linked to the royal family in Frozen. I forget the details, but if so it's a neat little tie in.

Fair enough. I'm going to guess in that kind of tv way where he beats up people the audience think deserve it? The way that before George Floyd we were all sort of okay with in fiction, but now it's too real?

I'm divided on him tbh. On one hand, nostalgia. On the other I was never quite comfortable how they always treated his behavior, which frequently verged on police brutality, as ok because it's against scuzzy people.

Just because you're dealing with a real peice of shit suspect/perp doesn't mean the rules of how to behave in the job suddenly don't apply anymore. That's not how the world works. When police act like him in real life it's not just against convieniently disgusting people. Innocent people get hurt. In light of what's going on in the world today with police it's really harmful to have a message of "as long as your targets are bad people it's ok to break the rules".
