Some people have complicated secrets or need more word count to express themselves. You're not being forced to read them.

Except more often than not, long secrets are simply multiple unnecessary tangents of bonus!secrets and not!secrets and pre-emptive arguments (or thinly-veiled insults) against people who might disagree and sometimes background personal details to "justify" the secret-maker's stance. They can just as easily save that for the comments (or their therapist).

Sure, no one's being forced to read them, but I imagine the point of posting for many people is to get responses and engage with others on the subject. So, if nobody bothers to read the rambling wall of text...
