Two new Steve/Danny stories posted today, 4 yesterday... seems like others still love this relationship as well. AO3 indicates 10,734 completed Steve/Danny fics as of this search. Even if the number of new stories slows down, seems like there's enough to keep us reading for a while.

Aww man, I was going to make a Steve/Danny secret! I've only seen some of the show but it's such a good pairing. The first episode I saw was when they were coaching little league together and I was like ... did this cop show really go there? The genre jokes about the bromance but for a second I thought they might canon.

The show was kind of all over the place with these two. One the one hand very NO HOMO LOOK THEY BOTH HAVE GIRLFRIENDS and on the other, snuggling on the couch and sharing popcorn, dreaming of growing old together, drawing hearts in the air to one another.....

OP The fic had made me wonder about queerbaiting in canon. Glad I never watched the actual show now. Think i'll just stick to the fic.

It's very....."these two policemen are the most important people in each other's lives bar none" which while not necessarily romantic is very much what the show knows the audience is there for. so for me that's a little bait-y, not egregious but yeah

Same! Never saw it, read the fic for it. My little secret? I thought Danny was black. Don't know why.
