OP

YEah!

That's it! It's all about that feeling! I'm glad it inspired you like nothing else! I'll join you in the embarrassment, as yesterday I walked down the empty-ish streets of my city listening to this very album, and it felt different from when I was a kid in high school. But I had a great time.

I revisit the emo-pop-rock bands like Paramore (Haley Williams is an amazing singer period) and P!atD while I'm cleaning and what not. It's just fun to sing along and revisit those memories. I feel like an old person now lol

Oh yeah!! It really does feel great. Like that meme of the brain explosion but it just gets better with every listen and then I thank the deities of fate for putting those albums in the way of teen me. Corny but that's genuinely how I feel. It has the sweet feel of 90s / early 2000s internet to me.

Damn, I was thinking just yesterday that Misery Business holds up though I never listened to a lot of Paramore. And I don't think I ever grew out of P!ATD, lol. I thought High Hopes was terrible at first now I like it almost as much as AFYCSO, which is weird. Anyway, used to feeling old by now but emo revival was unexpected.
