I'm definitely not a fan of the veins. I have been looking at the "manchest" book covers because those are typical for the genre I write. But I personally find most of them repulsive because of the veins and dehydrated, steroided look.

plus from a story standpoint it's always kind of annoyed me when characters are like swole as fuck but how would this person have that level of fitness considering their profession or whatever? surely they have better things to do (saving the world or whatever plot there is) than just sit around lifting heavy things just to put them back down again?

actors gotta keep up the the Ideal, i know, but still. roided up with arms the texture of a penis is a no from me dawg.
