Glad you enjoyed, OP, but I think I enjoyed it even more because he wasn’t actually helpless (he had the key in his hands the whole time). There’s something about Alex clearly performing a role/character within the tasks that I find so additionally fun.

I saw a Twitter discussion recently where the theme was the celebs who don't realise Alex isn't there to help them.

Which is some secretly the REAL Taskmaster evil villain fic waiting to happen if I hasn't already (it probably has.)

He specifically cast himself into a role where people bully him around and I feel like he enjoys that role and I love that about him.
