Same and same. I'm glad they moved away the Bob v. Jimmy and Bob v. Hugo stuff from the early seasons. Like, it still pops up now and then, but it doesn't feel quite like the whole world is out to get Bob now. Dude's got enough other bad stuff going on.

I loooove Bob's Burgers - one of my current faves - but THIS. The show has tons of positivity, kindness, and general lack of cynicism (thank god, I can do without the latter for adult animated shows, please) without feeling schmaltzy, but man, when the universe really has it out for Bob, it frustrates me.

I still think that one episode where Bob was outed as the selfish one because he hired that one teenage boy (Logan? I think his name was Logan) Louise hated temporarily so he could have access to fresh vegetables for his restaurant was too mean-spirited. I'm aware it ultimately ends with Louise wanting the restaurant to only be a family affair, but Logan's employment was TEMPORARY and given the madness Bob often endures for the sake of his family, him not being allowed one thing to himself (the veggie garden) honestly peeved me off.
